In yin yoga the focus is on the ligaments and the connectives tissues (fascia) and not primary on the muscles. To reach the focus areas we hold the poses for several minutes.
During the class we open up the body – the spine, hips, shoulder blades, legs, lower back, pelvis and the thinking mind gets to rest. All classes ends with savasana – or the final relaxation.
The class is held in English or Swedish – or a combination of both. Instructions can be given also in Finnish. The languages used during a class is dependent on the groups preferences.
